Welcome: An oasis of gentility and charm in the beautiful Rogue River Valley, Ashland Springs Hotel is the premier choice for lodging in Southern Oregon. A two-year restoration project transformed the former Mark Antony into a haven of taste and elegance reminiscent of Small European hotels. Ashland Springs Hotel combines the charm of a bed and breakfast, the friendliness of a small inn, the feel of a spa resort and the safety and convenience of a hotel.

The Perfect Getaway: Ashland Springs Hotel originally opened its doors in 1925, and today this lovely hotel continues to offer first-class hospitality to those who are drawn by business, the arts or the area?s natural beauty.

Ashland Springs Hotel is the perfect getaway for your personal retreat or as a home base for regional excursions. The beautifully restored landmark hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a member of the Historic Hotels of America. It is just steps from the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Other nearby attractions and activities include: Oregon Cabaret Theater, Lithia Park, Winery and Gallery Tours, Skiing and Snow Boarding, Golf, Fishing, Tax-Free Shopping, Dining, and pampering at the nearby Waterstone Spa.

Day excursions may include a scenic drive to our sister property, Lake of the Woods Mountain Lodge & Resort--a renovated historic 1920's fishing lodge with marina, general store and 26 cozy cabins, Crater Lake National Park, Oregon Caves and Chateau, Oregon Vortex and the California Redwoods. Whatever your plans include, our professional and friendly staff will do their utmost to ensure your stay is pleasant and memorable.

Local Recognition: "Sneak Preview" readers voted Ashland Springs Hotel as the Best Local Overnight Getaway and placed us among the best Places to Have a Group Party!

The Restoration: After a much-anticipated restoration, the historic Ashland Springs Hotel opened December 1, 2000 to the public. Originally built as the Lithia Hotel in 1925, more recent travelers will remember it as the Mark Antony. Located downtown, one block from the world-renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland Springs Hotel remains one of the city's beloved landmarks.

In 1998 local Ashland residents Doug and Becky Neuman purchased the former Mark Antony Hotel and started a complete basement-to parapet renovation. Their vision was to restore the hotel to its original grandeur.

"With Ashland and its surrounding beauty as our inspiration, we have created here what we have often hoped to find in our own travels - an elegant, luxurious hotel that is comfortable, unique and features modern amenities, yet retains those special historic features that cannot be replaced. Restoring this beautiful old hotel to its original grandeur has been a great adventure and we are delighted to share the excitement with you."
