DESCRIPTION: The Captain Wohlt Inn, a Hermann, Missouri Bed and Breakfast, is a compound of four buildings nestled in the heart of Hermann's historic district. Each ot the four buildings is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property features four suites and eight rooms, each with its own bath. The Captain's Home, now known as the Inn, is a charming three-story frame built in 1886. It includes five guestrooms, each with a private bath. They range from cozy attic rooms with double beds and shower baths to spacious rooms with queen beds and lovely airy full baths. Three suites are located in two brick buildings, built circa 1840 by original settlers of Hermann. Each consists of a gracious bedroom, sitting area, full bath, and kitchenette (one has a nursery, another has a two-person whirlpool, and the third has a new whirlpool bath). For family or friends staying together, the Peters and Poeschel Suites can be opened to provide a full house! The Captain's Neighbor offers an elegant suite with a two-person whirlpool, as well as two huge business-friendly rooms, and a cozy room adjacent to the Gathering Room. The property also includes 1100 square foot owner's quarters.
